Rongoā Services based at Mataora Hub

  • Rongoā Ngāhere and Tamoko to support the health and wellbeing

  • Utilises the ngāhere to promote connectedness through Ngāhere Hikoi, Rongoā Rākau identification, preparation and in some cases provision

  • Works with whānau who have experienced trauma or loss. Explores whakapapa and shares kōrero to
    co-create a custom moko. If appropriate, the moko will be applied to bring strength to wearers future

  • Must have a genuine interest in and respect for Te Ao Māori me onā tikanga and practice the tikanga of koha.
